The DHI (Direct Hair Implant) Hair Transplant or Implanter Pen Technique is based on the introduction of the healthy hair follicles taken by the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method into the skin through the implanter pen and simultaneously placing the graft.
The difference between DHI hair transplantation technique and FUE is that the hair follicles which are taken from the donor area in individual implanter tools (CHOI-PEN) directly implanted in the transplantation zone. In this form, the FUE hair transplantation technique is performed in two stages of the planting process is ensured. In addition, DHI is cultivated at its own angle and depth.
In DHI hair transplantation method, maximum 2,500 grafts hair can be planted in one session. For this reason, the FUE method is preferred for patients with a large number of grafts.
