2 days after the operation;

• Avoid letting water get on your face (as a precaution, you should not take a shower during this period).
• Do not to wearing makeup.

2 weeks postoperatively;

• Common and steam areas (sauna, steam bath, solarium, pool, etc.) should be avoided.
• Avoid to sleep on front or lateral (side) face stance.
• No face and neck massage.
• Avoid eating solid foods.
• Refrain from heavy sports.
• The clothes which are not straining the face are preferable.
• Head movements that force the neck and heavy household chores should be avoided.
• Avoid visiting the dentist for 2 weeks unless it is extremely necessary.
• Clothes that do not force face and neck should be preferred.

Apart from all these precautions, your doctor may recommend post-operative pain relief and anti-inflammatory drugs. During the healing process, these drugs should be used without interruption.
